Austell's China King Restaurant Robbed on Thursday
Police are looking for a suspect who drew a gun on an employee and robbed the cash register.

AUSTELL, GA -- Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened last Thursday at the China King restaurant at 2909 Austell Road.
Police say a man entered the restaurant wearing a black hoodie, a black hat and a bandanna which covered his face, and asked to use the restroom. After several minutes, he emerged with a handgun and began demanding money from an employee.
"When the employee hid under the counter, the perpetrator jumped over it and began shaking the cash register," according to police. "Once open, the perpetrator took an undisclosed amount of money from it and ran from business in an unknown direction."

The suspect is described as a black male, 5 foot, 3 inches tall, skinny and in his 20’s.
