The Eagles would like the bleachers to be as packed for the upcoming game as they were for the Nov. 17 season opener against the Duluth Wildcats.

The game kept the crowd on their feet and the Eagles on their toes.

It appeared as if the Eagles would cruise the remainder of the game with a 20-point lead going into the final eight minutes, especially since the Wildcats went scoreless the first two minutes of the fourth, but Duluth fought back and surprised South Cobb with a 18-9 run with a flurry of baskets by junior guard Ify Imachukwie and senior forward Zach Erwin to cut the Eagles lead down to 9 points.  But South Cobb’s Evan Ratliffe, who led all scorers with 22 points, hit a big time three-pointer with less than two minutes in the game to secure the team’s lead and eventual victory over Duluth 70-59.
