Celebrating 250 years of Art and counting. Engage. Inspire. Create.
The South Cobb Arts Alliance (SCAA) is pleased to announce its national juried Art at the Avenue exhibit featuring all types of genre, medium, style, and technique in arts held at a unique exhibit space at Suite 820, The Avenue West Cobb, Marietta, Georgia.
National Juried Exhibition open free to the public. Hours: Friday-Saturday, 10am to 5pm; Sunday noon to 5pm.
National Juried Exhibit Opening Reception and Awards will be held on Saturday July 18, from 5-7pm featuring music by Ollie Patterson and Angie Tillman.
Collaborative Community Art Events:
Artisan Market from juried and local fine artists and crafters.
Middle-High School art competition awards July 18 at 3pm
Live Painting Event Activities noon to 2 and from 2 to 4.
Susan Genson’s Cold Wax Art Class July 19 and July 26. Registration requested.
Georgia Ballet Performance/Art Activities July 25 and August 1 from 11am and noon with solo performances, coloring art pointe shoes activity. No reservations needed.
Free Art Event Activity August 1 Honoring our Veterans for the 250th year celebration of America. Registration requested.
Children’s Activities Storytelling at 1pm by Josh and Nelly’s Books on August 8: Face Painting August 8 at 2pm by Adream Arts for a nominal fee.
Closing Reception for National Juried Exhibit from 3-5pm on Saturday, August 8 with Whitefield Academy Jazz Band.
