Faith the size of a mustard seed was the principle that many may not know, but it is what lifted the entire McEachern Indian girls basketball organization during the years my daughter attended. As a member of the Class of 2025 and homecoming queen, she achieved things she couldn't have imagined and developed abilities she didn't know she had. At McEachern High School, she learned not only skills, but principles to live by.
I am a strong believer in Christ Jesus, and I believe my daughter's placement at McEachern was no accident. God planted her in fertile ground. Nothing against any other school, but I knew where I needed to place my daughter during those high school years. Along with Coach Arthur's leadership, they helped shape and develop her.
When my daughter came back from college and I needed support, Coach Arthur was still there — coaching, guiding and supporting us. One thing she did that I know brought my daughter's life back into alignment was pray with me. We prayed and agreed together one day, and it was exactly what I needed. It wasn't something money could fix. It wasn't something my daughter's talents could solve. Despite everything she had built in her life, there was an urgent matter, and even with trembling in her voice, Coach Arthur stood with me and we prayed.
I honor her and the entire McEachern staff. I am so appreciative of Coach Arthur, still to this day. How she manages all those girls, my, my, my. Give her her flowers while she is here. Amen.
Thank you for all you do, Coach Arthur!
