When the COVID pandemic hit hard in 2020, critical PPE items like masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer became difficult to find. Cobb County's Emergency Management used some of our federal CARES allocation to prepare for the future and started a county stockpile to make sure we would have critical supplies when the next public emergency hit.
