Mike Clark, age 81 of Clarkdale, passed away Saturday. Mike retired as owner and operator of Clark Painting. He is survived by his sons, Randy Scott Clark of Clarkdale, Michael Andy Clark of Clarkdale, Daniel Joel Clark of Hiram and grandson, Randy Steven Clark of Clarkdale. Memorial services were held Saturday at 5115 Brookwood Drive in Mableton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home, 760 Pollard Blvd. S.W., Atlanta, GA 30315.

Sarah Causey Tharpe, age 95 of Austell, passed away Friday. She was a member of . She retired from Dr. James D. Barr Optical in Austell. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Rayford and Andy Tippens of Powder Springs; grand-daughter, Allison and Doug Danna of Powder Springs; great grand-son, Drew Danna; sister, Gwen Scott of Calhoun; sister-in-law, Ethelene Causey of Austell and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Davis- Struempf Chapel on Sunday at 3 p.m. Nolen Eastham will officiate. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery in Austell.

Erna D. Hammond, age 70 of Mableton, passed away Thursday. Erna attended Freedom Fellowship Church. She was a registered nurse and retired from Grady Hospital. She is survived by her brothers, Wayne Hammond and Jasper Hammond, both of Eufala; nephew, Andy; and nieces, Angie, Sherry, and Christy. A graveside service was held on Monday at 1 p.m. at Georgetown Cemetery in Georgetown, Ga.
