Driver Injured After SUV Crashes, Flips Over In South Cobb
A driver's SUV hit a utility pole and several trees before flipping to its side in a single-vehicle crash in South Cobb, police say.
MABLETON, GA — A driver was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash after his SUV failed to negotiate a curve and flipped over at Factory Shoals Road, Cobb County Police said Tuesday.
The crash happened around 3:15 p.m. Monday near South Gordon Road.
Police said a male was driving a gray 2002 Chevrolet Suburban north on Factory Shoals when he lost control around a curve.

The Chevrolet then crossed into the southbound lanes, crashed into a curb and hit a utility pole and several trees, police said.
The SUV ultimately landed on its left side in a westerly direction, police said. The driver was partially ejected through the left back window, police said.

He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, police said. His condition was unknown Tuesday.
