Soleil Laurel Canyon invites the community to participate in the third annual Angel Walk for a good cause. Walkers will begin an almost four-mile journey from the Soleil Laurel Canyon clubhouse down Laurel Canyon Parkway and back, to honor the memory of Soleil residents who have passed while raising money for the Angel House of North Georgia.
Angel House of North Georgia provides housing and counseling for teenage girls. Last year, the walk raised $7,100 to help the Angel House purchase a small fuel-efficient vehicle for transportation.
The Angel Walk is open to the public, and registration is allowed until the day before the event. To be guaranteed a t-shirt in the correct size, participants must register by Sept. 15. The registration form can be found online here.
