Booked for Lunch with John Grady Burns

Cobb Library Foundation's 2011 "Booked for Lunch" series will conclude with floral designer and writer John Grady Burns who will discuss how to make your home magical for the holidays.

Burns has a degree in horticulture and retail floral management from Mississippi State University.  After graduation, he was selected to go to Washington, D.C. to work with the White House, the Blair House (home of the vice president) and several other embassies and dignitaries.  Burns moved to Atlanta in the 1980s and has taught floral design at Kennesaw State University.  He has won Best in Show, Professional Division in the Southeastern Regional Flower Show in Atlanta and is often featured in major floral and design publications.

All proceeds will support the Gail Rogers Scholarship Fund.
