Hosted by Sun Valley Beach the C.A.M.P. annual Family Fun Day and the Great Turtle Race will be a day full of fun for the whole family as well as a chance to support a great cause.
Each pre-paid ticket includes access to the park, swimming, activities throughout the day, including one entry to the Great Turtle Race and lunch at the Beach Pavillion served from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Additional turtles can be purchased for $5 each. The grand prize for the race is $500!
C.A.M.P. operates a large food pantry and clothing closet along with a financial assistance program for the Austell, Mableton, Powder Springs and Clarkdale communities as well as Lithia Springs and portions of East Douglas County. Last year C.A.M.P. served over 12,000 people in these service areas and distributed over 1 million pounds of food to families in need.
