Cobb County Water Quality Laboratory has created a rain garden demonstration site where residents can learn how to develop and maintain their own rain garden.
Rain gardens protect local waterways by decreasing the volume of runoff entering surface waters during rain events. In addition to being helpful, rain gardens are beautiful and can also serve as a habitat for butterflies, birds and other wildlife.
