
On Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 6:30 p.m., Rep. Alisha Thomas Morgan (D-Austell) will host the fourth graduation at the for the youth who attended the eight-week professional development program.
“I continue to be inspired by the young people in the South Cobb community who committed themselves to develop their own leadership, personal and professional skills," said Morgan. "I’m excited about the opportunity to recognize each student for his or her achievements during this installment of the Saturdays program."
The program focused on interactive sessions including College Success, Etiquette, Financial Management, Safe Driving, Healthy Relationships, and Business Management.

The students will have the opportunity to share special presentations with guests and their fellow classmates. The students’ families and friends are invited to share this special moment, along with enjoying an evening dinner with the honorees.
“This year, I am especially excited and grateful for the partnership with STING, Inc, State Farm, Popeye’s, RJabs Wings, Papa John’s, and Mr. David Pratt.

“The skills students have learned in the Saturday’s program will aide in their success in college and life,” said Morgan.
The program will begin a new session in the spring.
