Workshop participants will learn how to sample the biological diversity of a stream and judge the condition of both the water quality and habitat by studying the insects, snails and other critters found in a stream.
The workshop will focus on collection techniques for rocky or muddy bottom streams and macroinvertebrate identification. A quality assurance test is available at the end of the workshop for those who wish to test their skills. Bring your own lunch.
