Four Seniors Celebrated at Pebblebrook's First Official Signing Day
The four young men will attend Western Carolina University, University of Kentucky and Morehouse College.
History was made on Wednesday at which held its first official signing day for four of its seniors. The event began at 9 a.m. with chants from varsity cheerleaders of "We are proud of you!"
Students, faculty and staff joined in to celebrate the four seniors who officially signed to Morehouse College, Western Carolina University and University of Kentucky for the fall.
The seniors, Charles McCline, Sertonuse Harris, CJ. Goodman and Khalid Henderson, were all smiles as Athletic Director Kevin Locke officially began the event by explaining the purpose of National Signing Day and acknowledging significant contributors to the athletic program: Principal Zinta Perkins, Athletic Coordinator Lisa Morgan and Coach Randall Smith.

Smith said McCline, deep end for Pebblebrook, "has a very fast first step for his position and was recruited by Ohio Valley, Sunbelt, and ACC." He stands 5'11 and weighs 215 pounds and will attend Morehouse College in the fall.
Sertonuse Harris is the 6', 185-pound fullback who can make plays all over the field, Smith said. Harris will play at Western Carolina University.

"He just knows how to play and lead others," Smith said.
CJ Goodman is the superfast quarterback, who can pull off the big plays in games. The 5'11, 175-pound player was recruited by the ACC, the Southern Conference, Mac and the Sunbelt conference. He will also play at Western Carolina University.
In addition to being fast, Khalid Henderson, offensive lineback "is an all-around great athlete," Smith said.
The 6'1', 215-pound dynamo was by the SEC, USA, Mt. West, ACC and Big East conference. He will play at the University of Kentucky.
Perkins concluded the event by speaking with students on academic excellence and challenged rising seniors to do well in the classroom as well as in the sport of their choice.Â
