UPDATE: South Cobb Mother Killed Children, Then Herself, Cops Say
The Cobb County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death of the four people involved.

UPDATE (6:00 p.m.): The Cobb County Police Department believes that a woman living in a South Cobb apartment complex was responsible for killing four people onΒ Tuesday morning.
According to department spokesperson Dana Pierce, officers were dispatched to a βperson downβ call at the Walton Crossing Apartments at 1820 Mulkey Road Southwest. Once officers entered the apartment in building 500, they discovered the bodies of an adult woman, a 9-month-old girl, a 4-year-old boy, and a 10-year-old boy.
Investigators have identified the deceased woman as Kisha S. Holmes, 35, of Austell, and say that the three children found in the apartment are Holmesβ sons and daughter. They believe Holmes killed her children and then took her own life.

The Holmesβ bodies will be given to the Cobb County Medical Examinerβs Office, which will perform autopsies to determine how each family member died.

The apartment where the bodies were found is occupied by a mother and her three children, according to a source used by the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Cobb County police have not officially disclosed the identities or cause of death of any of the bodies discovered on Tuesday morning by a maintenance worker at the Walton Crossing Apartments at 1820 Mulkey Road Southwest.
The bodies will be given to the Cobb County Medical Examinerβs Office, which will perform autopsies to determine how each person died.
ORIGINAL STORY (2:12 p.m.): Cobb County police are at an Austell apartment complex investigating the deaths of several people whose bodies were discovered by a maintenance worker on Tuesday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The bodies were discovered at the Walton Crossing Apartments at 1820 Mulkey Road Southwest. Police say they are not releasing the number of bodies found nor the manner of the deaths until the next of kin can be properly notified, the AJC said.
