Frances Annie Kelley Milford, formerly of Austell passed away Nov. 13, at the age of 99.
She was born in Dawson County, Georgia and lived in the Austell area until she moved to Orange City, Florida in 2005. She worked at the bakery at Rich's Department Store in downtown Atlanta and also for Fair Oaks Dry Cleaners. She was a seamstress for many years and she enjoyed traveling in the United States and abroad.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Eller Kelley; brothers, Arthur, Luther and Ratliff Kelley; sisters, Tomma Kelley, Estie Tipton, and Dessie Pruitt; daughter, Christina Cantrell; and son, Heyward Milford. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Elle and Sid Massey; daughter-in-law, Mary Alice Milford; son-in-law, Jimmy Cantrell; grandchildren, Duane (Pam)n Milford, Janice (Mark) Hill, Monteigne (Ed) Hutchins, Sindy (Dennis) Strickland, Ken (Lisa) Cantrell, and Jack (Lisa) Massey; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 - 6 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Austell on Friday, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park.
Robert Windell Acree, age 82, of Austell passed away on Nov. 7 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell.
Acree was born on April 3, 1929 to Samual and Gladys Acree in Douglasville, . He graduated from Douglas County High School in 1947 and joined the U.S. Army the following year in 1948. He earned several medals and honors throughout his duration including the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He retired in 1952 as a Sergeant.
While in the service, he met the love of his life, Mary Martin from New Boston, Texas. The couple was married on Aug. 23, 1951 and had one beautiful daughter, Anita. The family continued to grow including a granddaughter, Shanna Meherg, and four great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Harmony Boyd and Steven and Clayton Meherg.
Acree retired from the Federal Reserve Bank in 1993 after 35 years of dedicated service. His family will remember him as a "wise guy" who was a real prankster. He loved to laugh and to spread that joy to others.

He is preceded in death by his father, Samual Frank Acree of Carrollton who passed on June 14, 1983 and his mother, Gladys Irene Ergle Acree of Douglasville who passed on March 15, 1976. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Martin Acree; daughter, Anita G. Richards of Bowdon; granddaughter, Shanna G. Meherg of Bowdon; great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Harmony Boyd of Buchanan and Clayton and Steven Meherg of Bowdon; sisters, Margaret Yarbrough of Lagrange, Betty Bearden of Palmetto, Nell Prince of Douglasville, Brenda Boone of Newnan, and Carole Crews of Bremen; brothers, Sammy Acree of Newnan and Ricky Acree of Newnan.
Charles Henderson Allen Sr., age 78, of Mableton passed away on Saturday, Nov. 5.
He was born to Charles Rogers Allen and Jane Elsie Davis Allen on Oct. 3, 1933 in Kinsale, VA. Allen assisted several organizations with his time and donations such as the Humane Society and the Sheriff's Association.
He was very savvy with automobiles, and he retired from Goodyear after several years of dedicated service. He also passed the torch on as manager of Kwik Fit to his son, Charles Allen Jr.
He also attended the University of Virginia as well as having served the country in the U.S. Airforce.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Frances Cowan Allen and his son, Jere McGee. Survivors include his daughters, Sue Condron of Gainesville, Karen Green of Villa Rica, Pat Allen of Villa Rica; sons, Lane McGee and his wife Linda of Newberg, Mike McGee of Kennesaw, and Charles Allen, Jr. of Cumming; adopted children, Kay Roquemore and Curtis and his wife Pauline Smith; sister, Ruby Kleberg; grandchildren, Michelle and her husband Steve Keeter, Nannette and her husband Richard Womack, Joe McGee, Melissa and her husband Ben Henderson, Jason McGee, Leslie and her husband Seneca Mallory, Larry Green, Jr., Jacquelyn and her husband Tom Bowden, and Dr. Stephanie and her husband Kevin Doktor; and his great-grandchildren, Kyle Keeter, Paige Keeter, Nick Womack, Palmieri Womack, Kaleb Mallory, Kyle Mallory, James Bowden, Peter Bowden, Marlee Henderson, and Charlotte Henderson.
Phillip Whitley Vaughan, age 64, of Austell passed away on Friday, Nov. 4.
He was born to Cecil L. Vaughan and Evelyn Cosby Vaughan on Dec. 19, 1946 in Atlanta. He grew up as the middle child amongst many brothers and sisters. After high school, he worked as a self-employed landscaper.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Evelyn Vaughan and his brother, David Arthur Vaughan. Survivors include his three sons, Brian Phillip Vaughan, Jason Lee Vaughan, and Levi Vaughan; brothers, Larry Vaughan, Harley Vaughan, Richard Vaughan, Mark Vaughan, and Darrell Vaughan; sisters, Marcia Smith, Ginger Sorrells, Jeanne Baskey, Lynda Alford, and Sherry Stover; and two grandchildren, Sophie and Aiden.
He was cremated on Nov. 5. The family had a public memorial service on Sunday at the Mountain Home in the North East Georgia Mountains.
