Police Investigating Austell Armed Robbery

AUSTELL, GA -- Police are investigating an armed robbery Friday night at the Don Magana supermarket on Six Flags Drive in Austell.

Police say a man entered the store and demanded money from employees at the registers. The perpetrator received an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a long sleeve hooded jacket and red Adidas athletic-style pants with white stripes. He was also wearing a white bandana covering his face and was armed with a handgun.
