I am Shelia Edwards and it was great joining members of the Georgia Public Service Commission at the Georgia Municipal Association Annual Convention in beautiful Savannah.
I am running to become the critical third vote that will change the trajectory of the Commission and restore its focus to serving the people of Georgia. Together, we can build a PSC that is transparent, accountable, and committed to protecting consumers.
Commissioner and candidate for re-election Peter Hubbard, Commissioner Dr. Alicia Johnson, and I share a vision for a Public Service Commission that puts people before profits.
We believe Georgia families deserve affordable utility rates, greater transparency and accountability, and an energy policy that protects consumers—not monopoly utility interests. We will fight to ensure that large energy users, including data centers, pay their fair share instead of shifting those costs onto Georgia households and small businesses.
