Second Victim Identified in Fatal SUV Crash
Another Powder Springs resident, Rodney Smith, was also killed in Monday morning's crash.

Police have released the name of the second fatality in Monday morning's fatal SUV crash in Mableton that killed two people and left four children seriously injured.
Police say Katrina Morris, 27, of Powder Springs lost control of her 1998 Honda Passport as she approached Flint Hill Road on Clay Road. Morris was killed on the scene, as was Rodney Smith, 28 and also of Powder Springs, who was in the front passenger seat.
Four juveniles were in the back seat, and all of them were seriously injured and taken to Scottish Rite Hospital for treatment.

Residents of the neighborhood were able to pull the youngest children -- ages 1 and 3 -- from the wreckage, while fire and rescue personnel cut the other two children from the vehicle. The AJC is reporting that Smith was the father of Morris' three children.
The accident happened around 6:40 Monday morning. Clay Road was closed for a short time while fire and rescue personnel were on scene.
