South Cobb and Pebblebrook High Schools Graduate Class of 2011
The two schools awarded more than 950 diplomas to students of the class of 2011.
A little more than 950 young people can call themselves high school graduates after receiving their diplomas from and high schools on Saturday.
The commencement exercises were held at Turner Chapel AME Church in Marietta.
Cobb County Board of Education member David Morgan and his wife, State Rep. Alisha Morgan (D-Austell) shook hands with the Pebblebrook graduates on stage. Mr. Morgan also performed the greeting and certification for South Cobb High ceremony as well.

Jiby Yohannan was named the valedictorian and Rukhsar Machiwalla the salutatorian for South Cobb High School.
GuangXuan Zou was named valedictorian and Samantha Budow was named salutatorian for Pebblebrook.
