Suspect in Clydesdale Lane Burglaries Arrested
A Mableton man faces four counts of first degree burglary.

A Mableton man has been arrested in connection with four burglaries alongΒ Clydesdale Lane.
The burglaries occurred between July 6 and July 31, according to arrest warrants forΒ Josue Jerez, who lives in the 100 block of Clydesdale Lane.
Jerez allegedly broke intoΒ one homeΒ July 6Β by opening an unsecured bedroom window. Once inside the residence, he tookΒ a 30-inch flat screen TV, according to warrants.
Five days later, Jerez allegedly brokeΒ aΒ window to gain access to another home so he could stealΒ accused an AppleΒ MacBook Pro laptop.
A thirdΒ burglary occurred July 22 whenΒ JerezΒ allegedlyΒ broke a side window of aΒ home and took electronics as well asΒ jewelry from the residence.
"Two witnesses to the burglary were discovered by responding officers," according to warrants. "One witness identified a co-conspirator in this burglary, whoΒ was later identified as a juvenile. The other witness described the general physical characteristics of said accusedΒ as being a young Hispanic male with a Mohawk style hair and was described as acting as the 'lookout.' "
Jerez and the juvenileΒ were arrestedΒ July 31Β in connection with a fourth burglaryΒ in the same neighborhood, according to warrants.
Jerez faces four counts of first degree burglary, according to online jail records.Β He is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $90,000 bond.
