Warrant: Cobb Employee Falsifies Workers' Comp Claims

He is wanted on one count each of insurance fraud and workers' compensation benefits fraud.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest ofΒ a county employee who allegedlyΒ filed false workers' compensation claims nearly three years ago.

Between Sept.Β 21 and Sept.Β 30, 2010,Β Olumide Hakeem Adeolu allegedlyΒ filed theΒ claimsΒ with Cobb County and Delta Air LinesΒ on the same day, according to the warrant.

The CobbΒ claim was filed atΒ 5600 Mulberry St., according to the warrant.Β That is the same address as Austell Primary School.

Though heΒ claimed injury to the same body part, authorities allege thatΒ AdeoluΒ "told the Delta representativeΒ and the Delta physician that the had no prior injuries to his wrist from his Cobb County job," according to the warrant. "As such, the entire Cobb County claimΒ was falsified. ... He lied to his Cobb County employer and to the CobbΒ County authorized treating physician in order to obtain benefits or payment."

Adelou faces one count each of insurance fraud and workers' compensation benefits fraud.
