• Swim season starting up soon (thechampionnewspaper.com) — Stonecrest families can kick off swim season at a free summer pool party on May 23 from noon to 3 p.m. at Browns Mill Aquatic Center, featuring food, a DJ, and activities. The center’s pools and water slides will be open for the 2026 season from May 23 through September 7, alongside many other DeKalb-area pools and splash pads.
