• Police make three arrests in burglary crime spree (thechampionnewspaper.com) — A recent burglary spree that hit a Stonecrest shopping center on Mall Parkway, along with businesses in Lithonia, Stone Mountain, Decatur, and Tucker, has led to three arrests. DeKalb County police say the suspects targeted about two dozen businesses before a stolen vehicle crash and foot chase ended the string of crimes. Investigators expect additional charges as the case continues.
