Jack Delain Retires from Park Springs Retirement Community

Nine years ago, Jack Delain joined the staff at Park Springs, the premier retirement community in Stone Mountain, in the Food & Beverage department. His wife, Liz, had already started working at the brand new development – which was completed in 2007- as a housekeeper.

However, when Park Springs completed its Cobblestone Health Center, Jack applied for and got the position as laundry houseman in the facility’s high-volume laundry department, where he stayed for more than eight years.

“Even though many Park Springs members do not know Jack as well as some of our other housemen who work throughout our public areas, they enjoy the products of his work such as the fresh and crisp table linens in Park Springs’ four dining venues, and of course, all the clean laundry for Cobblestone,” says Raymond Previto, Environmental Services Director.

Upon his retirement, Jack was the longest-working employee at Park Springs, and he was recognized for his loyal and outstanding service at the most recent Member Meeting, where Previto presented him with a plaque and other gifts.

Jack and Liz are looking forward to this new chapter in their lives and plan to visit lots of friends and relatives in the months to come.
