Big Lots Moves Into Staples' Old Spot

Big Lots has found a home on Stone Mountain Highway where used to be.

The Columbus, Ohio-based close-out retailer's black lettering and bright orange exclamation point are up, as is a "Now Hiring" sign out front.

closed Dec. 31 after about 12 years at the location, 5370 Stone Mountain Highway in Stone Mountain Square.

, which has a location at 5211 Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain, is also moving in at the other end of the Stone Mountain Square strip. It's grand opening is scheduled for April 19, according to the Costa Mesa, Calif.-based specialty retailer's web site.
