Every year, the State of Georgia Department of Community Health investigates the quality of care in each licensed nursing home in Georgia. These inspections are unannounced and include a review of patient clinical records, an in-depth tour of the facility and interviews with residents, family members and staff.
This month, Cobblestone Health Center at Park Springs earned a Deficiency Free state survey, which is recognized industry-wide as a major indicator of excellence in nursing facilities. These surveys rate quality care, safety, administration, food service, nursing care and patient rights.
