DeKalb Hosting Small Business Summit
The summit is open to the public and registration is required.

DeKalb County Interim CEO Lee May and the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners announce the fourth annual DeKalb County Small Business Summit will be Aug. 22, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Georgia Piedmont Technical College, 495 North Indian Creek Drive in Clarkston.
This is in partnership with the Development Authority of DeKalb County and the DeKalb Office of Economic Development. This year’s theme is Innovative Strategies for Growth.
The 2013 DeKalb County Small Business Summit is a part of the county’s ongoing effort to promote the growth and development of small businesses in DeKalb County by providing information to help businesses gain access to capital, identify public and private resources, and network with other companies.

Small business owners attending the summit will hear from professionals on strategy tools for business growth, marketing and branding strategies, exporting in global markets, and how to access startup capital.
