County Leaders to Hold Meetings for S. DeKalb Businesses

Meetings will discuss public safety and how to form a business watch program.

DeKalb County Solicitor-General Sherry Boston, commissioner Larry Johnson, and the DeKalb County police department's south precinct announced Tuesday that they are holding a series of community breakfasts for business owners in South DeKalb to talk about public safety concerns, forming a Business Watch program and the role businesses can play in keeping communities safe.

The first meeting will be held for the Candler Road Corridor on April 18, 7:30-9 a.m. at Piccadilly Restaurant in the South DeKalb Mall. Space is limited.  RSVP to Community Prosecutor Sonja Brown at (404) 371-2234 or snbrown@dekalbcountyga.gov.

Additional meetings will be held August 15 for the Wesley Chapel Corridor and December 19 for the Moreland Corridor. Locations will be announced closer to the dates.
