The Indian Festival & Pow-Wow is the largest Native American gathering in Georgia and named a Top 20 event by the Southeastern Tourism Society.
Held at Stone Mountain Park’s historic Antebellum Plantation, the event showcases Native American culture through dance, music, authentic craft demonstrations, cooking traditions, storytelling, wildlife presentations and more. Native Americans from across the U.S. and Central America will compete in intertribal dance and drum competitions. Attendees will be able to learn about skills such as flint-knapping, bow making, fire starting, open fire cooking and pottery. Parents and kids can participate in interactive experiences such as an East meets West Encampment comparing and contrasting the lifestyle of Southeastern and Plains Indians. Additionally, visitors can find that one-of-a-kind holiday gift in the artists' marketplace, where world-renowned Native and Native-inspired artists and crafters demonstrate their skills and offer hand-crafted items for sale.
The festival is open from Wednesday, November 3 through Sunday, November 6.
