Feds Seeking Serial Bank Robber
The man robbed two banks in Stone Mountain and one in Clayton County, according to authorities.
STONE MOUNTAIN, GA -- The FBI is looking for a serial bank robber who hit two banks in Stone Mountain and another in Clayton County in November and December.
And they’re looking for your help identifying him.
In a news release, the FBI says that, on November 15, a man entered the Wells Fargo Bank at 6063 Memorial Dr. in Stone Mountain at about 11:38 a.m. and handed a demand note to the teller.

He got an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank without further incident.
What is believed to be the same man entered another Stone Mountain Wells Fargo, this one at 4798 Redan Rd., and went through essentially the same routine. He handed a teller a demand note, got an undisclosed amount of money and left.

That robbery happened at about 11:47 a.m.
Then, on New Year’s Eve, at about 11:23 a.m., a man fitting the same description entered another Wells Fargo, located at 6626 Highway 86 in Riverdale, and once again announced a robbery by giving a demand note to a teller.
Again, he got an undisclosed amount of money and departed.
The FBI describes the robber only as a black male, approximately 30-35 year old, and about 6’0’’ tall with a slender, athletic build. But they’ve captured images of the suspect, which are posted above.
