DeKalb County Animal Services Pet of the Week: Ronald

Hi, I’m Ronald, and I’m DCAS’s Pet of the Week. I am a handsome boy who is five years old and very sweet and mellow. The staff here loves my beautiful eyes (one is blue and one is brown) and sweet smile. Please don’t hold it against me that I’m a pit mix. There are so many of us here at the shelter who would make sweet and loving pets, and we can’t understand why more people don’t pick us. If you pick me, I promise to love you for my whole life and to entertain you with my goofy ways.

LifeLine Animal Project Pets of the Week: Lilly and Daisy

Lilly and Daisy Lost Their Dad to Cancer and Are Looking for a Forever Home

Five year’s ago, LifeLine Animal Project took in two very special dogs: Lily, a black Belgian Shepherd, and Daisy, a Chocolate Lab mix. Their former doggie dad had adopted them from a shelter and provided them with a wonderful home for two years. But when he became ill with terminal cancer and was going into hospice, he turned the dogs in to LifeLine Animal Project in the hopes that his girls would be adopted into wonderful homes.

Five year’s later, the girls are seniors and are still waiting for their forever home. They are currently living a foster home with a number of other dogs, however, they deserve to spend their golden years in a home where they will get the love and attention that they deserve.

Lily and Daisy are gentle girls with sunny dispositions who are housetrained, affectionate, playful with each other and low maintenance. They need someone willing to adopt them together and give them love. In return, they will be serene companions who provide plenty of unconditional love. The girls have both been fixed, have had all of their vaccinations and are microchipped.

Could you be the family they’ve been waiting for? Why not meet them and find out? To set up a meet and great, please email adoptions@lifelineanimal.org.
