Frugal Family: Where to Get Lunch for $5

While everyone knows the cheapest (and often healthiest) lunch option is to eat at home or brown bag it, we all need (or want) to grab lunch out sometimes. For this week's Frugal Family, I rounded up some $5 lunch options that don't involve a fast-food drive through. Those listed as Tucker are along the Tucker-Stone Mountain corridor on Hugh Howell Road.

, 5370 Highway 78, Stone Mountain.  A slice of pizza and a salad comes in at just under $5.  They also offer sandwiches, pasta dishes, and chicken wings for reasonable prices. If you're ordering a whole pizza, print a $2 off coupon from their Facebook page.

, 5992 Memorial Drive, Stone Mountain, with several other local locations. Subway offers 6 choices of footlong sandwiches, made to order, for just $5 every day. 

, 1171 S. Hairston Road, Stone Mountain. Serving Mexican food to Stone Mountain for over 20 years, Los Arcos offers a huge menu with daily lunch specials from $4.39.

, 4431 Hugh Howell Road, Tucker. Lunch specials are $7.99, and they have Po Boy sandwiches for just $4.99.

, 4487 Hugh Howell Road, Tucker. You can get a slice of pizza and a drink for about $3.75, and add toppings for 75 cents each. Sicilian pies and slices are always buy one get one free, making that choice an even better deal. Another good option is the calzone for just $5.25. 

Moe's, 4450 Hugh Howell Road, Tucker. Moe's still offers $5 Moe Mondays, where all burritos are $5 and come with chips and salsa.
