Thanksgiving is ours, a truly American Holiday.

Let’s give thanks by sharing memories and special recipes. I, of course, have some favorites; many duplicate yours. My family is blessed with great Southern cooks. If my mother had a cookbook, it was likely to be used as a doorstop.

I’ll share some family favorites and welcome yours. The late Jim Sanders left a trove of Georgia recipes. They are culinary treasures, just like your own.
