Got Ideas? "Brain Dump" About Economic Development in Stone Mountain Village Sunday

The brainstorming session will take place in the party room of the Village Corner Restaurant.

There will be a brainstorming sesssion tomorrow (Sunday, Feb. 12) from 2-4 p.m. at the Village Corner Restaurant  in the party room  in Stone Mountain Village to discuss ideas about continued growth of Stone Mountain Village's economic development initiatives.

Main Street Stone Mountain is sponsoring the event. Jack Sartain, Vice Chair of the Main Street Board, will facilitate the session, in which sustainability is the emphasis.

"Anyone who has any ideas at all about how to bring citizens and visitors to Main Street and into the art studios, restaurants and other small businesses is welcome to attend" he said through e-mail correspondence.

Sartain's e-mail also said the possibilities of recruiting national brand restaurants and motels and other job-creating asset the village could attract, such as a call center, high tech-low impact manufacturing or similar enterprises that "put people on the street" would be discussed.
