Police say the man confessed to the incident, which happened in his Lithonia apartment.

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — A man shot and killed his girlfriend overnight in Lithonia, then called 911 and waited on police to turn himself in.

The couple got into an argument in the man's apartment on Place Fontaine near Fairington and Panola roads, according to WSB.

“When they arrived, a male subject standing outside stated that a female was shot inside his apartment,” said DeKalb police Lt. Rod Bryan. The man told police the shooting happened after the argument.
