A Special Mother's Day Tribute of Love from the DeKalb County Board of Health

Now through May 29, the DeKalb County Board of Health is offering women living in DeKalb County with low income or no health insurance the gift of free health screenings.

The special program provides:

• Breast cancer screening and follow-up at no or low cost for low-income, uninsured women between the ages of 40-64
• Cervical cancer screening and diagnostic evaluation at no or low cost to low-income, uninsured women between the ages of 21-64

These programs are part of the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program, funded by the state of Georgia and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
