Stephenson Middle's Teacher of the Year: Eneta Todd

When Eneta Todd walked into Thursday, where she's taught for a decade, she had no idea that she'd spend part of the day wearing a sash and posing for photos.

But that's what happened after an even bigger surprise of the day: she was named 2012-2013 Teacher of the Year.

"I am so elated," said Todd, an Exceptional Education teacher. "I'm really speechless."

After the announcement, Todd walked through the main hall of the school with former teachers of the year, a procession led by musicians. She then posed for photos with her colleagues and with prinicipal  Obelia Hall.

Stephenson Middle School has about 1,400 sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students. The school is located at 922 Stephenson Road.
