Stone Mountain City Council Meeting Agenda

There will be a public hearing on alcohol license applications for two restaurants and a special called meeting on a financing agreement before the work session.

The scheduled work session will follow a public hearing and a called meeting, starting at 6 p.m. in city hall.

The public hearing is on the applications by Artisan and Quick Bite restaurants for licenses to sell beer and wine.

On the agenda for the called meeting is a temporary financing agreement for the city and the lease of 5347 East Mountain Street for a new art micro-enterprise business. City Manager Barry Amos said the space will be occupied by Susan Ryles, who currently has a studio in the North Town Gallery.

-Facility use agreement between the city and the Caribbean Soccer League (Medlock Park, proposed usage fee is $2,800 for July 10 - Aug. 28.

-Selection of a design consultant for the renovation of the old train depot (Lord-Aeck-Sargent). Contract amount is $31,313. 

-The adoption of a fee schedule for long-term facility use agreements.

New business:

-Facility use agreement between the city and Ray of Hope for the use of Medlock Park from July 30 - Dec. 3 for a fee of $4,800.

-Beer and wine licenses for Quick Bit and Artisan restaurants.

New ordinances and resolutions:

-Proposed sign ordinance .

-Ordinance 2011-06 - set the millage rate for ad valorem property taxation (first reading today, second reading July 5).
