Stone Mountain Teacher at Educator Open House

Going back to school doesn’t have to mean that summer fun is over. Stephenson Middle School teacher Angela Leach discovered that when she visited the recent Educator Open House hosted by the World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. At the Open House, educators from across Georgia received complimentary admission to learn more about the attractions’ educational features and field trip opportunities.

At the World of Coca-Cola, Georgia teachers can fulfill hundreds of Common Core Standards in areas like social studies and English/language arts with the World of Coca-Cola’s Teacher Toolkits, which can be found at http://www.worldofcocacola.com/teachertoolkit.htm. The attraction also
hosts hundreds of field trips a year.
