- DeKalb County School Board of Education Superintendent Ramona Tyson is expected to announce the board's recommendation for school redistricting and consolidation at tonight's meeting, which starts at 6 p.m. Patch will be blogging live from the meeting.
- Candy Bingo at Sue Kellogg Library, for ages 6 - 12, 4 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 8:
- Stephenson High School varsity basketball teams play Westlake at home, 5:30 and 7 p.m.
- Stone Mountain High School varsity basketball teams play Columbia (away), 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 9:

Thursday, Feb. 10:
- Stone Mountain city's groundbreaking for a new city hall may be today. Patch will keep you updated.
- PRISM (Pride Rings in Stone Mountain) meets at St. Timothy United Methodist Church, 7 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 11:
- Stephenson High School varsity basketball teams play Newnan (away), 6 and 7:30 p.m.
- Stone Mountain High School varsity basketball teams play Woodward Academy at home, 5:30 and 7 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 12:
