Two Local Nonprofits Get Wells Fargo Grants
Company's "Days of Giving" program is in its third year.

Mainstreet Community Scholarship Fund and Unconditional Love for Children, two Stone Mountain non-profit groups, are among 234 that have received $1,000 grants from Wells Fargo, as part of its "Days of Giving" Program.
Wells Fargo said in the Days of Giving celebration, which it launched in Fall 2009, team members in its nearly 200 bank stores in Atlanta - as well as those in other business lines - chose and and recognized groups that were delivering important services in their local areas.
A total of 51 groups were honored at a community breakfast in Duluth this week.
The company also said its Atlanta team members had pledged or given $937,000 through its annual United Way and Community Support campaign, which is 10 percent more than last year. Wells Fargo is also making a $600,000 corporate contribution to the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta.
