[Video] Local Student Ready to 'Dribble, Dish and Swish' at National Competition
Rockbridge Elementary student Zaria Sims and her dad are on their way to Orlando for the NBA Fit/WBNA competition Feb. 25, part of the NBA All-Star Game Weekend.
third-grader , 8, doesn't just play basketball; the point guard on the Lady All Stars team, part of the Corpus Christi Youth Basketball League, is good enough to compete in a national competition this Saturday.
is traveling with her father to the NBA All-Star Game Weekend in Orlando, where she is a finalist in the 2012 NBA FIT/WNBA Dribble, Dish, & Swish Nationals Competition, happening Feb.25.
Sims' experience will include the contest, being honored at an awards luncheon, and in-arena recognition during "NBA All Star Saturday Night" presented by State Farm.
