Viewfinder: Sprouts Day at VFW Stone Mountain Community Garden

The VFW Stone Mountain Community Garden hosted a day of gardening and outdoor fun for Stone Mountain Elementary students.

Inspired by the DeKalb Extension Garden Patch column Planting Sprouts with Your Sprouts, by Averil Bonsall and her colleagues at the extension, the VFW Stone Mountain Community Garden hosted a day of gardening and outdoor fun for Stone Mountain Elementary students. Sixteen members of the school's Garden Earth Naturalists students at the school took part.
