Woman Found Dead Outside Gwinnett County Construction Site

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — Authorities are searching for a suspect after a woman was shot to death outside a Stone Mountain construction site Friday night, according to Gwinnett County police.

Police are searching for a man named Edward Smith in connection with the death of Breana Rogers, who was found dead outside a wrecked vehicle near 5170 Stone Mountain Highway. According to police, Rogers was shot multiple times and died at the scene.

Witnesses told police the suspect fled the scene through the nearby construction site.

Smith is wanted for aggravated assault and felony murder. Police did not provide a description of Smith.
