Police: Suspects Dropped 20-Pound Rocks Onto Cars from I-985 Overpass

2 of the 4 have been arrested; police have warrants out for the other 2.

Two men have been arrested, and two others have warrants issued for them, after police said they threw large rocks from an overpass on I-985 in Hall County and damaged two cars early Tuesday morning.

No one was hurt, but both cars had major damage, police said.

Gainesville Police told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the rocksdropped from the Athens Street bridge weighed 20 to 25 pounds. The incident happened some time between 1:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.

Gainesville Police said on Facebook that Kyhrie Harris, 21, and Juan Peterson, 18, have been arrested and charged with first degree criminal damage and terroristic acts.

Kendrick Perry, 19, and Michael Ellis, 21, are still at large. They will face the same charges.
