1 Arrested, 1 Cited In DeKalb Street Racing And Stunt Driving Probe
Two people are facing charges after police accused them of street racing and stunt driving in Tucker.
TUCKER, GA — One person has been arrested, and another has been cited, in connection with suspected street racing and stunt driving Sunday in the area of Chamblee-Tucker Road and Embry Circle, DeKalb County Police said Monday.
Officers responded to the area around midnight, when police said they found significant traffic and vehicles drag racing.
The drivers fled, leaving an abandoned vehicle at the scene, police said. During an investigation, police said 21-year-old Adrian Peralta returned to the scene and told officers the vehicle belonged to him. Furthermore, police said Peralta acknowledged participating in street racing.

He was arrested on charges of promotion of reckless stunt driving and impeding the flow of traffic, police said.
Shortly after, police said officers responded to a crash involving stunt driving in the parking lot of North Hills Shopping Center. There, police said they determined a vehicle hit a light pole and was left abandoned.

An 18-year-old man then arrived on scene and acknowledged to the stunt driving, police said. He was cited for laying drag and reckless driving and was released to the custody of his family, police said. He was not identified.
