In Ayad Akhtar’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Disgraced, a successful Pakistani-American attorney, Amir Kapoor, seems to have it all—career, culture, and a picture-perfect life in Manhattan with his artist wife, Emily. But during a dinner party with colleagues, a conversation about religion, identity, and politics begins to unravel everything Amir thought he knew about himself and his place in the world.

As tensions rise and truths are revealed, the evening takes a sharp turn—exposing deep prejudices, personal betrayals, and the cost of assimilation. Disgraced is a gripping, thought-provoking exploration of race, faith, and the complicated layers of modern identity in post-9/11 America.

Main Street Theatre's production of “Shakespeare in Hollywood” by Ken Ludwig blends Shakespearean fantasy and comedy with a fictionalized account of an actual motion picture production. The year is 1934, and Warner Brothers Studio is filming an adaptation of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Two fictional characters from Shakespeare’s script, Oberon and Puck, transcend time and space to magically appear on set. They interact with the movie’s famous human stars and end up being cast to play themselves in the film. Aided by a powerful "love flower" from their magical forest, Oberon and Puck upend film production with romantic entanglements, chaos and confusion with unpredictable comedic results.
