1. DeKalb DA says DNA ties one man to 3 cold cases. Are there more victims? (ajc.com) — DNA evidence has linked a single suspect to three long-unsolved violent crimes in the Tucker area, and prosecutors warn there may be additional victims who haven't come forward. DeKalb County's cold case team used new genealogy tools to connect a July homicide arrest to assaults and a kidnapping dating back to 2014, all within about a mile of each other near Tucker.

Friends remember teen killed in GSP crash, police respond when crowd forms (wrdw.com) — Residents gathered at a Tucker intersection to mourn 19-year-old Anthony Angeles, killed when a Georgia State Patrol chase ended in a fiery crash involving a pickup truck suspected in stunt driving. Friends shared memories at a candlelight vigil as DeKalb officers monitored the crowd, while GSP expressed condolences and pledged a full investigation into what led to the deadly collision.
   

3. 9/11 25 years later: DeKalb County pay tribute at memorial designed by firefighters (wsbtv.com) — DeKalb County leaders, first responders, and residents gathered at police and fire headquarters in Tucker to mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11 at a memorial designed by local firefighters. With bagpipes, lowered flags, and a wreath, speakers urged people to visit the sculpture—featuring steel from the World Trade Center—so younger generations in Tucker understand the day's sacrifices.
   

4. Volleyball Recap: Jackson's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven (maxpreps.com) — Tucker volleyball fans will see a busy Tuesday ahead, as both Jackson and Cross Keys are set to visit the Tigers' court for back-to-back matches at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Jackson enters on a seven-game winning streak after sweeping Cross Keys 2–0, while the Phoenix look to rebound from a rough stretch.
