A Freeze Warning to Start the Spring
Temperatures in West Cobb are expected to dip into the low 20s Wednesday night, with the freeze warning remaining in effect until 11 a.m. Thursday.

Be sure to keep those winter blankets handy and bring in your pets and plants before going to bed tonight. Because while the last day of winter on Tuesday felt summery, the first full night of spring will feel like the winter overnight.
West Cobb is included in a National Weather Service freeze warning for most of north Georgia, as temperatures are expected to drop into the high 20s in the metro Atlanta area.

Paulding and Douglas counties are also in the freeze warning, which will be in effect from 4 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday.
Thursday also will be the last sunny day for a while, according to the NWS forecast, with the high temperature expected to reach nearly 50. There will be a slight chance of snow and sleet Thursday night, with lows near freezing.

On Friday, a 50 percent chance of rain comes with highs in the 50s, then warming a tiny bit—but not likely to hit the 60s—on Saturday and Sunday, also with the chance of rain in the forecast. Lows are expected to be in the mid 40s Friday and Saturday and down into the high 30s Sunday night.
