A Wet Start to Your Week
Will the rain go away in time for your weekend, West Cobb? Here's what the weather experts have to say.

Don’t expect the weather to brighten up the day for folks resuming the daily grind after the weekend.
The National Weather Service says today there is a chance we’ll see showers and thunderstorms before 2 p.m. rolls around, with that chance increasing after 3 p.m. Stormy weather chances aside, we’re bound to see mostly clouds in the sky and feel winds of 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Showers and storms will remain probable through Tuesday night, with the chance of precipitation staying put at 60 percent until then. Wednesday, the chance of wet weather drops to 30 percent. Thursday’s forecast puts it at 20 percent, and so far, that’s the percentage listed in all the weekend predictions.

Beyond the low percentages for rain and storms later in the week, the late-spring days will include some other favorable numbers, as the mercury isn’t expected to break out of the mid-80s the entire week.
